2024 REPORT
Engage AND RAISE AWARENESS
2,651,270 visitors in 2024:
RAISING AWARENESS THROUGH IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES
Pairi Daiza encourages all its visitors to have a unique immersive experience, transporting them from one part of the
world to another and offering them a window into the beauty and complexity of the natural world. This immersion
goes beyond mere observation; it is an invitation to feel, understand and emotionally connect with life in all its forms.
Visitors are amazed at what they see, which spurs them on to find out more. By arousing our visitors’ curiosity, we
hope to ignite a natural desire to learn and understand.
This immersive experience isn’t just visual; it engages all the senses. Visitors are encouraged to listen to the sounds of
nature, inhale the fragrance of exotic plants and explore the Sensory Garden barefoot. These multi-sensory experiences
strengthen emotional and cognitive connections with the natural world, increasing the impact of conservation messages.
By offering an experience that touches both hearts and minds, we hope to create fertile ground for conservation
awareness, sowing the seeds of a lasting commitment to protecting our planet.

DISCOVERING THE TREASURE TROVE OF BIODIVERSITY FROM AN EARLY AGE
We are convinced that being awakened to the beauty of fauna and flora, their fragility and the urgent need to
preserve them begins from an early age. That’s why we offer a range of discovery packages for children aged two
and a half upwards.
Our educational guides use games, anecdotes and observations to help children learn about the world’s fauna and
flora and its cultural bounty.

SIGNED UP FOR OUR UNIQUE ANIMAL EXPERIENCES IN 2024
Our “Keeper for a Day” and “Animal Adventure” packages offer participants a unique opportunity to get up close
to some of the animals. These experiences are designed not only to educate and amaze participants, but to instil
a deep awareness of the challenges facing endangered species around the world. With “Keeper for a Day”, Pairi
Daiza offers die-hard fans the chance to get an insider’s view of the work that keepers do and to take a peek behind
the scenes of this fantastic profession. The itinerary includes spending the day in the company of a keeper and
meeting the zoo’s iconic species. “Animal Adventure”, meanwhile, allows for more direct interaction with some of
the animals, offering a unique perspective on their behaviour and needs.
